27/02/11 Edit full size now for DL, but PLEASE fav this if you like it, because I noticed I'm getting quite a lot of downloads but little favourites. ;_; oh, I added my signature and a little line from the album like my usual works. I don't want people downloading to not acknowledge me and the amount of effort I spent >_<

For #theSOUNDHORIZON's first contest ! (First anniversary)

I half died after finishing this. I'm a bit late for the deadline, but I hope it's okay.

I lost count but I think this took around 14 hours >_>

It took a while to paint Elise as she was microscopic and to get Märchen's clothes right O_O And for the girls, I tried my best not to copy. (some poses will be similar to original -_-) They are tiny too haha.

Inside the web-like pattern you can see little symbols and clues for the stories ...though maybe you can't really see them. ._. The colour scheme behind is to show light and darkness, and dusk and dawn in the middle.

The melody is what you hear in every song of Märchen.

ANd I know my digital painting skills are so bad...besides using layers and an easier way to pick colours, I painted this as you would traditionally...so yeah everything from scratch, which explains the around 14 hours for those who don't understand. T_T
I'm quite happy with Märchen's face though ahah, and his face was very quick compared to other parts of the painting.

If I ever have time, because my arm feels like it's breaking now, I will try clean little bits up. I can't seem to find a way with technology to do that. But I'm finished for now. x_x

Lets begin the revenge tragedy!
This album gave me goosebumps many times out of how ebullient it was both usically and lyrically. Märchen and Elize are very well done. Thank you for making such a great portrait of a worthy story.
